We will teach you the basics of surfing like how to paddle, duck dive, turn, stand up, and how to ride your first wave. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there are 8.5 million riders in the world. 85 percent of surfers polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male.
